DAM Health is one of the UK’s leading diagnostic providers specialising in COVID testing. DAM Heath has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Clinician to join our dynamic team in Derry / Londonderry. This is a zero-hour position, well-suited to an individual who is looking for a fast-paced role with massive scope for development and training in a supportive and thriving workplace. The Derry / Londonderry clinic is open 7 days a week, so we are looking for flexible clinicians who are willing to work to shift patterns.
Within our new facility in Derry / Londonderry, you will be working closely with our clinical leads to provide a gold standard, customer-focused private healthcare service. This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians who are keen to engage in training and develop their skills with DAM Health to upskill themselves for future opportunities. Training, PPE, and uniform will be provided.
Within this role as a clinician with DAM Health you will be responsible for the following:
- Greeting clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude ensuring their experience is positive from the moment they step through the door
- Managing client adherence to all personal hygiene and safety protocols
- Working and communicating effectively with clients
- Engaging positively with company training and instruction
- Following all authorised clinical and administrative procedures
- Adhering to patient confidentiality policies and legislation
- Obtaining samples from clients attending the clinic, such as oropharyngeal swabs
**Essential Requirements**
- Two years’ working experience in a fast-paced clinical environment including with face-to-face patient interaction
- A confident understanding of and commitment to infection control measures
- Previous experience of working in a role where hygiene standards and HSE protocols were maintained
- Experience of health and safety procedures within a healthcare setting
- Excellent time management skills
**Desirable**
- Phlebotomy trained
- Three years’ working experience in a clinical environment
- Clinical trainer experience/qualification
- Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certified
**Job Type**: Zero hours contract
**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
