we are looking for a Head of Finance/Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager in an ambitious company

Your responsibilities:

- Establish an internal finance team (accounting, controlling, treasury) and in the meantime cooperate with an external accounting office,
- Participation in the implementation of a financial and accounting system for the company,
- drawing up accounting policies and internal accounting procedures,
- close cooperation with tax authorities
- Preparation of financial reports, tax returns and other reports in accordance with German law,
- preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS,
- Representing the company in contacts with external institutions (tax offices, banks),
- development of appropriate controlling instruments,
- financial reporting for internal and external purposes,
- Supervision of the planning process and preparation of budget proposals for the company as well as control of the execution,
- regular preparation of cash flow - projections as well as financing of the company's activities, enabling a smooth management of the company,
- Ongoing financial analysis of the company and the market in which it operates in order to make appropriate business decisions on the direction of the company.
- completed scientific university education,
- several years of experience (at least 7 years) in a leading position in the finance department combined with experience in team management,
- sound knowledge of tax regulations under German law,
- Fluent knowledge of IFRS, including specific knowledge of issues related to the operations of a construction and manufacturing company,
- Experience in the implementation of financial and accounting systems and accounting and control procedures,
- Ability to solve accounting and tax problems,
- ability to build and lead a team,
- interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to an accelerating and ever-changing environment,
- entrepreneurial spirit, ability to think entrepreneurially,
- good command of English.
