We are looking to recruit a fully skilled CNC Miller with programming experience. It is an exciting time to be joining our company as we are currently investing heavily in our shop floor as part of our Industry 4.0 Smart Factory project. **Location**: Knowsley, Merseyside
**Shift**: Night Shift (39 hours per week)
- Monday to Wednesday: 9:30 PM - 7:15 AM
- Thursday: 8:00 PM - 5:15 AM

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Safely Programme, setup and operate a variety of CNC milling machines independently
- Work to quality specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings to produce various precision components to tight tolerances
- Maintain traceability of all components and paperwork
- General cleanliness and housekeeping
- Effective communication with Team Members and Team Leader
- Comply with company health and safety procedures
- Support and input in the development of machining processes and tooling/fixture design
- Select tools according to manufacturing process requirements
- Take ownership of machine Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM)
- Utilise suitable quality equipment to ensure product conformance
- Take ownership of machining cell 5S
- Use digital screens to input production and quality data
- Experience in programming, setting, and operating multi-axis CNC milling machine centres
- Ability to adjust offsets to ensure accuracy of finished components
- Excellent understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection
- A team player who will work well in our supportive team environment
- Advanced computer and numerical skills
- Flexible approach with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- A pro-active and self-motivated individual
- Engineering NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or time served experience
- Experience with Mazak machines advantageous though not essential
- Experience in Mazatrol programming advantageous though not essential

Pay: £19.40-£24.25 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
