**The Job you’ll Do;**
- Manage and Develop Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with the companies standards and operating procedures.
- Produce Risk assessments( co
- ordinate inputs from Maintenance and Production) record remedial actions and follow up to close out.
- Write Safe working procedures along with Department leaders.
- Undertake COSHH assessments.
- Undertake Manual handling assessments.
- Undertake DSE assessments.
- Health and Safety Induction training and recording.
- Online training - co ordinate the online training system, allocating modules for individuals to undertake and maintaining records of completion.
- Health and safety filing system.
- Environmental filing system.
- Aspects & impacts register.
- BOS chart : accidents and near Misses.

**About You;**
- NEBOSH Diploma in Health & Safety - Desirable.
- NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety - Essential.
- HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering - Desirable but not essential.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment - Essential.
- Good knowledge and understanding Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ideally experience with Environmental disciplines, but this can come with training / development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
