We are looking for a new optical assistant for our small but welcoming team at Specsavers Wallsend. Specsavers has been going from strength to strength, ever since the business started back in 1984. We strive for the highest clinical standards - and believe that the customer should be at the heart of everything we do.
A role with Specsavers Wallsend offers a unique opportunity combining a sales/retail role and a clinical environment offering and varied day and opportunities to develop further in either part of the role, both in optics and hearing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated team member to help us deliver excellent customer service and help guide our patients through the whole journey through the store, from booking an appointment to advising on the products to fully meet the patients expectations. The role requires
- Good phone skills,
- Sales skills and commercial awareness
- Computer literate
- An understanding of the importance of the unique legal/confidentiality requirements of a clinical optical environment.
- The ability to quickly build rapport with new people and tailor your approach to the individual
The store is open 7 days a week and you will need to be available to work any 5 of these days.

**Salary**: £14,600.00-£20,319.00 per year
