We are a leading catering & events company who work with some of the most cutting edge & unique London companies and venues. We are seeking a Bookings & Events Coordinator who will look after the general catering bookings for shoots, offices, fashion houses and get the opportunity to work on small to medium events, an aspect which will grow with experience. They will be responsible for the paperwork and communication required to ensure a smooth delivery from kitchen to client. We are ideally seeking individuals with a background in hospitality, who are passionate about food & events and looking for a new challenge

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Taking direction from the events team to deal with small to medium scale event bookings and on occasion being in attendance onsite for the event.
- Pro-actively managing events and bookings diary.
- Identifying the potential to upsell.
- Successfully converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and creating accurate and detailed event or booking run sheets, labels, and menus.
- Notifying operations of any bespoke orders or specifically requested items so they can be ordered in.
- Liaising with the head chef on alternative dishes/menus to meet dietary requirements.
- Customer after-care i.e. chasing up post event, obtaining feedback and reviews.
- Proactively grow and develop relationships with prospective and existing key accounts.
- Other administration as required for general bookings or events.
- The role is mainly based in our HQ, however sometimes we will ask you to supervise/ manage staff on medium - large scale events in London.
- Assisting with the setup of our much-loved soup kitchen.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- At least 2 years’ experience within the hospitality and events industry
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
- High level of organisation
- Excellent Verbal and written communication
- High Attention to Detail
- Prioritizing tasks and giving delegation where necessary
- Good Time Management Skills
- Client Liaison & Customer Service

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
