As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our Reservations team with a **Trainee Cruise Sales Consultant**in our**Ipswich** Head Office. As part of the role, you will be fortunate enough to visit our ships and sail on educational trips. Monthly commission is also available in addition to the basic salary.

The day-to-day duties for this role include:

- Dealing with customer enquiries and reservations in a polite and professional manner.
- Building and maintaining your own knowledge library on rates, prices and terms of business.
- Effectively promoting all relevant Fred. Olsen products to customers.
- Confirming bookings and upselling all relevant products.
- Selling the Fred. Olsen products and brand to customers.
- Personable with excellent communication skills and a polite, engaging telephone manner.
- Able to build positive relationships with our customers.
- Educated to GCSE-level or equivalent, with a C or 4 in Maths and English.
- Passionate to work in the travel industry and learn our destinations.
- Organised and able to manage tasks to meet deadlines.
- Sales or customer service experience is beneficial.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 35 hours a week Monday to Friday and every other Saturday. A day off in the week will be rewarded when a Saturday is worked.
