Assist Resourcing is looking for Warehouse Team Leaders in the wigan area, to work for our client, a well-known Logistics & Distribution supplier. This is a really exciting temporary to permanent opportunity and would suit a career-minded individual with the desire to develop and progress within the logistics sector, and who has some previous experience in managing teams of Warehouse Operatives. You will be known as a "Team Captain". **The tasks of a Warehouse Team Leader will include**: - Managing small teams of Warehouse Operatives - Providing a point of contact for your team - Supervising shift briefings & debriefings - Picking & packing across the warehouse using handheld scan guns - Loading/Unloading containers - checking goods in and out - Checking goods once received - Put away and moving stock - Packing & re-packing - Receiving & dispatching goods - Other general Warehouse Team Leader duties **The available shift times & working hours of a Warehouse Team Leader**: Our client has a variety of shift patterns available, working 5 from 7 days.
