**Position Summary**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bien Venue for a **Finance Assistant **to join our small friendly team in Poynton. This isn't your average dull finance position, here at Bien Venue no two days are the same, and each day brings something different along with an element of fun and laughter You will work closely with other department members, to ensure a great level of service is given to our client base. Great communication skills are a must, knowledge of Sage line 50 is preferential as is a knowledge of Excel.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
We’re seeking a passionate, personable team member to become one of our friendly faces in our office at Bien Venue.

The Finance Assistant role will involve purchase ledger however there will be an element of some sales ledger duties.

To receive and reconcile all invoices for suppliers.

Verify calculations and input codes into the Sage accounts system.

Deal with supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.

Ensure that all creditors are reviewed with the Finance Manager on a regular basis.

Bi-weekly payment runs and the sending of remittance advices.

To assist the Finance Manager in the day-to-day smooth running of the department to keep everything ship shape

Ensure that confidentiality is always adhered to.

Ensure you always maintain a high level of Customer Service and have the ability to deal with challenging situations whilst being diplomatic.

Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)

To be able to problem solve and think outside of the box.

Any other duties requested by the Senior Management Team.

**Experience;**
- Prior experience in a service-oriented finance role preferred.
- Prior experience working with Sage50 preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail required; ability to multi-task required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £26,000.00 per year
