**Tire Technician Job Description**

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform tyre installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Assist customers with tyre selection based on their needs and vehicle specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Lift heavy tyres and equipment as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tyre maintenance or automotive repair preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to tyre servicing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed, demonstrating physical stamina.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
