**Main Purpose of Role**
To work as a team member and support other team members in the provision of services to clients. To support the Quality Safety Environmental and energy Manager to meet client KPIs and roadmaps. To contribute to a high performance team culture by providing services, reports and contributions that would meet this level of this measurement.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with the Company’s Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, and at all times adopt behaviour in accordance with SGS UK’s Equality & Diversity policy.
- At all times satisfy the client, line manager and team that your performance levels and outputs are at a level commensurate with this position and to the satisfaction of the line manager and client.
- Ensure good communication and cooperation with your line manager, other team members and the clients.
- Raise limitations in your knowledge or challenges and request support from your line manager as required.
**Skills & Knowledge**
**Essential**:
- Detailed knowledge of current health and safety legislation including ACOPS and guidance.
- Good communicator persuasive in putting forward requirements and arguments to ensure compliance.
- Ability to conduct fire risk assessments and advise on fire safety.
- Ability to conduct detailed health and safety audits of various sites.
- Quick grasp of clients requirements and ability to propose improvements of service or client deliverables
- Good report writing
- Competent on office especially outlook, teams, word, PowerPoint and excel.
- **Desirable**
- Knowledge of Northern Ireland and republic of Ireland legislation, acops and guidance.
- Awareness of risks associated with Telecommunications.
- Good working knowledge of construction safety including CDM 2015
