Delivery Driver

**The Role**

The customer experience is at the heart of everything we do and a delivery network is critical to the customer experience and business performance. Often, our drivers are the main in-person contact our customers share with Mi-Flues and as such our drivers are at the forefront of the customers relationship with us.

Due to continued growth and expansion we are seeking experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated personnel to help us deliver our parcels across the South West (based at our Taunton Branch - TA2 8DG).

We are seeking drivers for our 3.5ton vehicles so a CPC isn’t required.
- 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- The finish time depends on the route and traffic. Flexibility is required in line with Business seasonality and needs.
- It is multi-drop delivering with on average 5-15 drops per day.
- A requirement to be able to lift 25kgs is necessary albeit lifting equipment is provided.
- No more than 3 points on driving licence and no former DUI need apply.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safely secured and in line with road and transport legislation.
- Ensuring routes are completed in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
- Ensure all packages are handled appropriately and goods are delivered in as good condition as within your control.
- Conduct & complete daily vehicle safety checks in order to meet legal and company specific requirements.
- Report any necessary problems and defects without undue delay to management.
- Greet and interact with customers and the public in a professional manner and positive attitude.

- Accurately complete delivery paperwork.
- Comply with the relevant driver’s hours and working time regulations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations on the road.
- Keep the exterior and interior of company vehicles clean and tidy and any equipment in good working order.
- Flexibility in working hours when required in line with the seasonality and business needs.
- Wear the correct uniform/ PPE at all times.
