Job Description - Housekeeper, working weekends and potentially mid week as and when required

**As Housekeeper, your tasks would typically include**:

- Vacuum corridors and skirting boards
- Spot/ deep clean any spillages to floors in communal areas
- Spot/ deep clean any marks on walls in communal areas
- Vacuum and mop entrance/ reception area
- Vacuum main stairs
- Empty bins in reception, concierge and management offices
- Clean concierge and staff kitchens & WC in concierge and management offices
- Vacuum and dust and polish the concierge/management offices as well as the storage areas
- Clean glass panels and handles on entrance doors
- Vacuum rear stairs
- Clean windows/ glazing to reception area

**Other tasks**:

- Undertake cleaning of students kitchens/ bedrooms as required or instructed by the Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor
- Report any damages found in the building to the Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor
- Periodic checks of communal kitchens, complete inspection reports and issue daily to Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor
- Periodic checks of bin stores, complete inspection reports and issue daily to Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor
- Keep communal area clean and tidy
- Liaise with administration staff, security staff and Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor, to ensure smooth running of day to day activities within the building
- Liaison and reporting to Management Team with relevant matters
- Attend periodic meetings with Accommodation Manager/Accommodation Supervisor
- To be sensitive to cultural differences.
