**Job description**

Waterfield's Bakery is a well-established Northwest Based Family owned Quality Bakers with 37 shops across the North West, our family values centre around our people. We are looking for a temporary Retail Sales Assistant for our shop based in Westhoughton.

We have a friendly environment in a variety of locations across the North West where exceptional customer service is the norm not the exception.

As a Waterfield's Retail Sales Assistant, you are expected to maximise sales through effective baking of savoury goods, stock merchandising and customer service.

We provide our customers with great tasting quality Savouries, Sandwiches, Bread and Confectionery goods.

Key responsibilities include:

- In store baking of all savoury and sweet pastry goods throughout the day (Pasties, Pies Sausage Rolls, Custards Eccles Cakes etc)
- Maximizing the sales at every opportunity
- Driving sales forward through product availability
- Delivery of excellent customer service
- A working knowledge of health & safety and food safety legislation

Working hours will be approx 15 hours per week over 3 days to include alternate Saturdays additional hours will be available to cover during holidays and staff sickness.

Week 1

Monday 8.15am - 1.30pm Tuesday 12.00pm - 5.30pm Wednesday 8.15am - 1.15pm

Week 2

Thursday 8.15am - 1.30pm Friday 12.45pm - 5.30pm Saturday 8.15am - 2.15pm

**Please note due to the equipment in use all applicants for this vacancy must be aged 18 and over.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.42 per hour
