Marketing Executive

**The Company**:
Here at Vital Energi we are a leading provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sector. We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clientsto decarbonise their buildings. We have, and continue to, work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK that are really making a difference to achieve our Net Zero targets, and we were recently recognised for this by our Industry Association, awardingus the Contribution to Net Zero award. Energi has also started to build its first Waste to Energy plant at a site in Drakelow, Derbyshire.

**The Opportunity**:
A vacancy has arisen for a Marketing Executive, initially on a fixed-term contract for circa 15 months to cover a period of Maternity Leave within our Marketing Team, based at our Head Office in Blackburn.

There’s a variety of work involved in this role, allowing you to build and develop your skills across the full marketing spectrum. The main purpose of the role is to develop and manage marketing initiatives for the North & Scotland region.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will:

- Develop and deliver bespoke project communication plans and activities to promote engagement and raise brand awareness in areas local to our projects
- Liaise with Senior Management and project teams regarding project updates, milestones and achievements
- Implement and deliver project communication plans for project events including milestones, PR opportunities, social value events and completion events
- Organise site photography with external photographers, co-ordinated with site management and clients
- Work closely with the Communications team to cover both internal and external news stories and project case studies for social media, website and press
- Organise and co-ordinate resources and collateral for external tradeshows and exhibitions
- Plan, organise and deliver Vital Energi hosted sales events, co-ordinating with internal and external parties
- Produce a monthly report, tracking progress of initiatives and data analysis of projects implemented to be delivered to the North & Scotland Senior Management team
- Create bespoke collateral for project, bid, event or meeting requirements on various software’s such as Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft PowerPoint
- Create storyboards to develop various video types (animations/explainer videos) to promote key projects, messages and develop a communication campaigns for the videos
- Liaise and maintain relationships with external agencies to deliver initiatives such as films, graphics, communications, and printed collateral
- Website updates of relevant stories, images, videos and press releases
- Work with the Marketing team on internal communication / engagement activities and initiatives within the North & Scotland team

**The Person**:

- Skills and Experience:_
- A level / GCSE English Language at grade A or above
- Basic Adobe skills are essential (Photoshop and InDesign)
- Filming and video editing skills would be desirable but not essential
- Competencies:_
- Ability to be a great communicator to collaborate with the Marketing team in Blackburn and your equivalent in the London office. You will be working closely with the Communications Executive responsible for the North & Scotland region. You will also becommunicating regularly with project teams across the North & Scotland region
- Be creative - be able to contribute ideas, big and small, to company-wide campaigns as well to the North & Scotland business units
- Great time management skills - the ability to prioritise and work on multiple projects while managing agencies to achieve deadlines
- Ability to multi-task to a high level to ensure priority projects are handled effectively with successful outcomes
