The role of Field Support Supervisor is to ensure that our clients receive the appropriate support and a high-quality service in conjunction with taking control of Care Plans, Compliance and administration duties. This role will be perfect for someone to support, lead and manage the CAREGiver’s ensuring their wellbeing is always at the forefront.
- Create, update and audit client care plans and assist with digital care planning.
- To support in the interview, training and induction process
- Support care consultations, service reviews and completing client support plans for all care clients.
- Conduct weekly welfare checks, staff supervisions and client QA’s for Live-in CAREGivers.
- Maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records on Home Instead software and People Planner.
- Conduct client and CAREGiver introductions.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing clients, their families and other professionals involved in their care.
- Carry out client reviews and action these accordingly.
- Support and mentor CAREGivers.
- Provide support to the Client Experience team.
- Maintain regular contact with clients and CAREGivers.
- Any other duties as directed by your line manager.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Ensure in respect of employment and service delivery.
- Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
- Experience in the care sector delivering a wide range of personal care services.
- Experience of understanding lone working polices and knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of working with MAR sheets and medication in a supervisory role.
- Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
- Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to CAREGivers.
- Must understand the importance of confidentiality working within current legislation.
- Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
- Must have full driving license and means of transport if required within the territory to visit clients.
- Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.

**Apprenticeship Details**:
Over the course of 15 - 18 months (dependent upon the level of course an apprentice is being enrolled onto), you will study modules such as personal development in care settings, the responsibilities of a care worker, handling information in care settings, implementing person-centred care plans, safeguarding & protection in care settings, duty of care in care settings, communication in care settings, equality & inclusion in care settings and health & safety and wellbeing in care settings (these units may differ).

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification and a TQUK Diploma in Care.

If you do not hold GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent), these will be delivered alongside the apprenticeship programme.

Our delivery of training is through blended learning. Supported by one of our sector specialist tutors, they will deliver teaching sessions using various methods including face to face teaching, Skype, Facetime, telephone and peer virtual classroom whilst using our interactive multi-sensory teaching resources. Teaching sessions are normally bi-weekly or monthly, depending on the learner’s preferred learning style. Additionally, the tutor will provide the support required to ensure the learner enjoys and ultimately successfully achieves their goals
