An exciting opportunity has arisen within the New Patient Booking team. The successful applicant will have knowledge of patient administration systems or previous experience working within a busy office environment and excellent customer service skills. Working as apart of a team on a rota system in the booking and administration team to plan, book and schedule outpatient appointments ensuring that both Government and Trust targets are met.
To work as part of a rota system in the Booking and Admin Team to plan, book and schedule outpatient appointments ensuring that both Government and Trust targets are met.
To ensure that clinic capacity is utilised efficiently and effectively.
To manage e-Referral appointment bookings, using the worklists including the ASI (Appointment Slot Issues) and appointments for booking ensuring acknowledgement of receipt of referral, appropriate prioritisation of patients and offering a choice of day, time and location of appointment adhering to Government and Trust targets.
Answer incoming calls, assisting patients with specific enquiries, booking/re-booking appointments or re-directing to the appropriate clinical area.
