**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Curriculum in Wales
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Manage daily routines, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery environment and encourage parental involvement.
- Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.

**Qualifications**
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Some spoken Welsh is deisrable.
- A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education with a focus on child-led play and development.
- Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning experiences.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices related to early years education.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
