**ROLE SUMMARY**:
**Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 17.00**

**Location: Zenith Head Office, 47 Bengal Street, Manchester, M4 6BB**

**Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent**

The Building Safety Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the administration of building safety items across the business, and assisting with the compliance database in support of the Property Management Department. This is a new role, to join a well established team within the Zenith family, bringing the opportunity to take ownership of a number of building safety processes and procedures and act as the point of contact for a number of senior colleagues throughout the business.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate activities across the members of the Building Safety and Technical Support team, including:

- Provide exceptional customer service to third party contacts at service providers as well as public authorities
- Maintain calendars and activity trackers
- Managing document submissions in line with building safety case requirements, including issuing POs, updating trackers and reporting to the PM team and colleagues
- Maintaining up to date Resident Engagement Strategies and PIB/SIB documents for each site
- Arrange and monitor Fire Door inspections, FRAs and Insurance inspections
- Ensure that the Compliance database remains up to date and with changes, and our buildings remain compliant with fire risk actions and building safety issues
- Ensure that the team are prepared for head office and site based meetings, including attending, contributing and taking minutes when required
- Work closely with Property Management and other teams to ensure client tasks and reporting are kept up to date
- Maintain an excellent standard of knowledge of Building Safety issues across the business.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills
- Financial acumen
- Ability to produce reports and maintain accurate records
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- IT Literate (experience of using Microsoft products and bespoke systems)
- Experience in residential property management (preferable not essential)
- Experience of using Qube (preferable not essential)
- Experience in a similar or comparable role or organisation
- Experience working with teams
- An understanding of the Building Safety and Fire Safety Acts, or the ability and desire to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
