Scientific Advisor

**Overview**

**Location**: Remote (UK/EU preferred)
**Time**: ~1-4 hrs/week (flexible)

**You may align with one (or more) of these tracks**:

- Clinical & Translational (MD/PhD): study design, endpoints, NHS pathways, ethics, and clinical validation.
- Bioinformatics & Biomarkers: multi-omics integration, feature engineering, signal drift detection, ground-truthing.
- AI/ML & Data Science: time-series modelling, causality, uncertainty calibration, model governance.
- Quantum/Quantum-Inspired Methods: quantum kernels/QSVM, VQE-style optimisation, hybrid workflows.

What you bring
- PhD/MD (or equivalent) in a relevant field (medicine, bioinformatics, systems biology, statistics/ML, quantum/CS, or related).
- Track record in digital health, or clinical trials.
- Strong statistical thinking (endpoints, power, confounders, generalisability, uncertainty).
- Evidence of leading multidisciplinary work from concept to real-world evaluation.
- Clear, concise communication; ability to work through assumptions constructively.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: From £25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 4 per week
