An exciting opportunity has arisen to work at HMP Peterborough as the Lead of the Mental Health Team. We are looking for a highly motivated registered mental health nurse with both clinical and leadership skills. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health and perinatal mental health services.

HMP Peterborough is a local Category B prison. It is England’s only dual purpose-built prison for men and women, including a mother and baby unit, who are kept separate at all times. The prison is located in the city of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and accommodates up to 360 female and 868 adult male prisoners.

The post holder will lead, manage, and support the mental health multidisciplinary team within the healthcare ensuring the delivery of high quality, effective and efficient services to patients using a trauma informed model, within HMP Peterborough The post holder will lead on developing integrated pathways to support a seamless service delivery built around the patient’s needs.
