Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a **Veterinary Receptionist at Woodlands Veterinary Clinic.**

**Location**:To be based between our Brockworth and Warden Hill sites

**Contract**:Permanent, Part-time

**Hours**:15 hours per week

**Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday 15.00 - 18.00 at the Brockworth site plus a 1:7 share in the Saturday 09.00 - 13.00 rota at our Warden Hill site

**About the role**:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

**What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist**:

- **Previous Receptionist experience is essential**, veterinary experience is a plus
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
