The Peale Ward Team work at Maidstone Hospital and are the only ward on site with 15 individual rooms. Peale is currently looking after COVID positive and COVID contact patients.

We are currently looking to employ a Ward Flo - Co-Ordinator to our friendly team to help us to discharge our patients and improve patient flow.

If you have the drive to provide an excellent patient experience and an enthusiasm for personal and service development within a clinical setting we are waiting to hear from you.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to You will work within a multidisciplinary team supporting patient flow through the hospital and working with the clinical teams to facilitate simple and complex discharges.

You will be based on Peale Ward and work under the direction of the Ward Manager.

**You must**:

- Have the ability to manage an ever-changing fast paced workload in a busy environment
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be IT literate
- Willing and keen to learn new skills
- Be able to work well under pressure, with the ability to prioritise your own work load independently
- Be approachable and open to an ever changing work environment

We will provide you with a complete induction and support continuing development through yearly appraisals.

This is a full time post working a rota around a 7 day service 365 days of the year.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.

The Trust provides a full range of general hospital services and some areas of specialist complex care to around 500,000 people living in the south part of West Kent and the north part of East Sussex.

The Trust’s core catchment areas are Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells and their surrounding boroughs. We work from two main clinical sites: Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
