Barista/tearoom Assistant

**About us**

We are a busy small independent cafe in pontyclun, with a reputation for friendliness and great customer service, looking for outgoing friendly and professional individuals with barista trained**(at least 1 year experience), general catering assistant and knowledge of tearoom process**, capable to multi-task and deal with busy demanding periods and day-to-day operations of the cafe with can do' attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

The cafe is open from Mon to Sat from 9am to 5pm. Hours: 6 to 24hrs including weekend and **should** **be** **flexible**.

**Duties involve**:

- Help in the preparation of beverages and light snacks**
**- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe**

**-Washing dishes**
**- Support with serving customers and handling transactions**

**-Provide friendly customer service and help with customer queries**
**- Ensure adherence to food safety standards**
**- Assist with stock management and inventory control and replenish products as needed**

**Requirement**:
**-Should have the knowledge of making coffees(barista 1year)**

**-Should have knowledge of tearoom process.**
- **Willingness to help colleagues and customers with a positive attitude**
- **Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Coffee shop assistant: 1 year (required)
