We are looking for an effective and personable English tutor to teach adult learners Functional Skills English.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- You will be paid £25 per hour plus £20 per learner for completing their Speaking & Listening, Progress Reviews, Contact Logs and Exit Reviews, and other relevant paperwork as necessary.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To deliver and develop provision of functional skills teaching as directed by the Delivery Manager in line with awarding body requirements and quality standards
- To provide guidance and support to learners to enable their progression to further training/education/employment
- To liaise effectively with colleagues, Delivery Manager and partner organisations to ensure that the course is delivered to the highest standard possible
- To complete all paperwork such as registers, enrolment forms etc in line with the organisation’s and funding requirements and deadlines
- To provide guidance and support to learners to enable their progression to further training/education/employment
- To encourage learners’ achievement of nationally recognised qualifications and to adhere to all regulations of the awarding bodies (e.g. City & Guilds, Pearson, NCFE) in the provision of such qualifications
- To complete all paperwork such as registers, enrolment forms etc in line with the organisation’s and funding requirements and deadlines
- To comply with institution's policies and regulations and any regulatory requirements that may apply

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- **Essential**:_
- Level 3 Functional skills qualifications in English
- Experience of teaching English from Entry Levels to Level 2
- Able to travel independently to the delivery location in London
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Good project coordination skills
- Good organisational skills

**Salary**: £25.00 per hour

- Certificate of Higher Education (preferred)
