Facilities Manager- Soft Services

**About the role**

Reporting to Head of People - Support Centres.A fantastic opportunity based at our Head Office site in Wellingborough with some travel.

Assure the effective functioning of the head office site and 5 regional support centres, providing an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities by liaising with Property and Health & Safety teams, managing services and processesto meet their needs and the needs of the business

To manage and /or facilitate soft services (security, cleaning, catering, landscaping, waste management, recycling, pest control, reception and post room) within the annual budget.

**Role Responsibility**
- To manage and /or facilitate the office services in all support centres
- Ensuring any maintenance for work is carried out for specific sites to ensure sites are compliant to Health, Safe and Legal requirements
- Organisation of Fire drills and coordination
- Equity
- Co-ordination of department risk assessments
- Equity
- Management of restaurant facilities, adherence to budgets ensuring that all sites are legally compliant in terms of Health and Safety and food hygiene
- Overseeing the management of the Post room
- Budgets, management and processing of PO’s
- Escalation and facilitation of work with H&S Team, Security Team and Property Teams
- Management of third-party contracts ensuring service agreements are met
- Management of ‘Contacts data-base’

**You will need**
- Previous experience of working in a soft facilities role
- Experience of Multi site / Multi-function management
- Management, building effective relationships with third party providers
- Understanding of statutory Health & Safety and Food handling requirements
- Team Management and development
- Have worked independently in a faced paced environment
- Commercially minded, confident decision maker
- Ability to manage multi projects
- Excellent communication skills
- To have a Customer Service focus, to meeting the needs of each site.
