**Job summary**:
RAF Menwith Hill is an integral part of the worldwide defence communications network and provides intelligence support for United Kingdom, United States and allied interests. The Operations and Maintenance department assist this operation with almost 100 employees providing a range of maintenance support.

The post holder will be required to work as a member of the Base Operations Custodial team providing general cleaning services to prescribed standards.

**Job description**:
Who are we after?

We are looking for motivated, organised individuals who are able to work on their own and as part of a team to join our Custodial staff. We need individuals who always strive to do their best and go out of their way to give outstanding customer service.

There will also be opportunity to invest in your future with training and development opportunities for you to progress within the MOD and wider civil service if you so wish.

For this post, the cleaning tasks to include general cleaning, toilet cleaning, dusting and polishing and other related tasks including use of cleaning chemicals and equipment as provided.

**Person specification**:
The ability to obtain and maintain a DV clearance is required. You must be a UK citizen and have lived within the UK for at least 8 out of the last 10 years.
