We have an excellent opportunity for a **Peripatetic Team Leader** to join our incredible team at our residential care home, Tarry Hill.
- **Role**: Peripatetic Team Leader
- **Contract type**:12 month fixed term contract (Maternity cover)
- **Pay Rate**: £13.88 Per Hour
- **Shifts**:35 hours per week
**Duties Include**
- Attending service review meetings, outcome-based meetings, safeguarding meetings etc.
- Ensure healthcare workers provide the required quality standards determined by the company.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Effectively and confidentially managing data and information.
- Providing exceptional customer care; undertaking relevant risk assessments
- Lead on medication
- including but not limited to ordering of medication, auditing the medication, booking in medication, reviewing any medication related support plans.
- Attending medication reviews.
- Training staff in the medication administration process
- Managing the day rota.
- Ensuring medication compliance
- Creating the rota weekly
- Approving of annual leave
- Booking of agency
- Ensuring compliance for agency staff
- Reasonable management requests
**Person Specifications**
- The passion for working with vulnerable Adults with Learning Disabilities.
- The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
- You will be committed to providing the highest care standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- NVQ in Health and social care.
- Learning disability, Complex Needs, Autism, or challenging behaviour experience with adults.
- Excellent knowledge of the CQC.
- Computer literate
- Experience with all Microsoft platforms
- Good use of initiative
- Experience of medication administration and management
- Working with nourish and eMAR systems (desirable but not essential)
