This role is supporting the COO Portfolio including the Claims Roadmap programme which is the largest programme across the UK business. The role is a part of the UK Change PMO Team, reporting to a PMO Lead and will involve frequent contact with senior project & business managers across CIO and the business, as well as 3rd party suppliers.
The key skills required are analytical, managerial, and communicative. You will be aligned to our Claims Roadmap programme, working to implement PMO best practices to drive quality and to enable key decision making whilst ensuring they have the tools required to control and report on the initiatives they own.

You will be used to working at a fast pace, be highly motivated, have strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, confident communicator, and be able to influence others and maintain effective working relationships with senior managers, business stakeholders and suppliers.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the Technical Delivery leads to ensure that they comply with RSA standards and governance. Dissemination of standards to ensure that the programme is managed efficiently and is providing the correct level of reporting on performance against objectives, budgets and risks and issues.
- Support the central PMO with reporting and collating reporting material from financial status, portfolio health, risks and issues.
- Scrutinising and challenging worktream reports and RAID logs to ensure ongoing alignment with objectives, and to verify data provided by Project Managers/workstream Leads.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable successful delivery of the team objectives.
- Managing the development and maintenance of document libraries for projects and programmes to ensure that all documentation is signed off, baselined and change controlled.
- Managing the collection, co-ordination, analysis and distribution of management information for the programme leadership team to ensure the information required is available, accurate and on time.
- Manage and faciliate resource demand including supporting with recruitment for the workstream leads.

**The Individual**
- Understanding of Portfolio Management Control Office aligned to the P30 model, at multiple levels within the organisation
- Previous experience of similar Governance and project management standards.
- Experience of dealing with major stakeholders and large strategic suppliers
