We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized **Storeman** with an electrical background (preferred) to join our team. If you have a strong understanding of electrical components and materials and possess excellent organizational skills, we'd love to hear from you
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Receive and unload deliveries, verify products against purchase orders, and check for damages.
- Properly store electrical materials, components, and tools in designated areas to ensure easy access.
- Maintain accurate stock levels of electrical goods and conduct regular inventory checks to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Assist with picking and packing electrical products for orders, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and shipped.
- Organize and manage inventory of electrical components (e.g., cables, lighting fixtures, circuit boards, electrical panels) efficiently.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working with electrical products, wiring, circuit boards, or lighting systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge or previous work in an electrical environment (e.g., electrical contractor, distributor).
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and handling procedures.
**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
**Experience**:
- Site: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
