What you'll be doing
- Role Details
- Leading elements of the bid process, producing competitive and accurate tenders.
- Developing innovative solutions and value-added proposals that give us the winning edge.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and subcontractor input to produce precise costing sheets.
- Working closely with operational, commercial, procurement, and technical teams to align pricing with delivery strategies.
- Mentoring and supporting estimators in the team.
- Using the latest digital tools and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Who we're looking for
- What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience managing the estimating process within the construction/highways industry.
- Strong knowledge of pricing and quantification methods.
- Skilled in MS Office and estimating software.
- A collaborative leader who thrives under time pressure and enjoys solving problems.
- Professional membership (RICS/CIOB/ICE/CIBSE) is desirable, but not essential.
