As part of the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) team, you will be supporting the front-end developers in producing exceptional user experiences on a large e-commerce website.
The experiences you will be carrying out quality assurance testing for, are part of our A/B testing workstream, built and tested using a standard A/B testing platform.
We work with ambitious timelines so you will need to be adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced team with a keen eye for detail.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Responsible for improving, enhancing, and maintaining robust and sustainable QA processes.
- Periodic reviews of the process to ensure we are continually improving our QA processes.
- Ensure bug-free and performant code is released by testing across platforms using various tools and techniques.
- As part of the maintenance of client-side experiences, you will be responsible for ensuring existing experiences on the website remain consistently bug-free and unaffected by other releases.
- Ensure smooth transitions between product releases and our activities.
- Ensure that the user experience is developed to standards that meet or exceed the expectations of specifications.
- Identify issues in development builds and produce detailed bug reports.
- Execute planned test cases, create and maintain test plans and test cases as required.
- Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the quality assurance/testing role.
- Experience with various testing tools and techniques (e.g. functional testing, UI testing, regression testing, black-box testing, unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, end-to-end testing, smoke testing)
- Willingness to thoroughly understand the deliverables and expectations for experiences that are in the future, to ideate detailed test-case scenarios to identify issues as early as possible.
- Proficient in BrowserStack.
- Cross browser/Cross platform testing skills.
- Experience with accessibility QA.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and knowledge of bug tracking systems (e.g. Jira)
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and document their work.
