GroupNexus are a forward thinking and innovative parking services operator which prides itself on providing customers with excellent levels of customer service across all its branches.

We currently have a position for a Full Time Car Park Attendant to join our team at
Kingston Hospital.

Working the following contracted hours:
Monday to Friday

Shift times 0700 to 1500

Previous experience in a customer service
Previous experience of working in standards driven/compliance
environment
Able to solve problems and implement appropriate solutions
Able to make independent decisions
Able to work on own initiative
Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
Must be able to be flexible in the working hours
Patrolling the various car parks in all-weather conditions.
Monitoring restricted areas (e.g., Disabled and Parent & Child) within the
site confines.
Use a hand-held computer to record vehicle data.
Issue Parking Charge Notices in accordance with company procedures.
Face to Face dealing with customer complaints.
Face to face dealing with aggressive/irate customers in line with company
training.
Giving directions to Customers.
Assisting customers to vehicles if requested.
Observe car park for any security issues (i.e., vehicle break in’s, vehicle
accidents and suspected packages/vehicles) and report these to the line
manager.
Report, cordon and assist in the cleaning of any spillages within the car
park areas.
To observe both Group Nexus and client & safety procedures.
To complete a daily occurrence diary
To complete site reports and timesheets accurately

The role:
maintaining a clean and secure parking environment, Patrol the various car parks
regularly to ensure a safe operating environment for visitors to the site that you will be
carrying out your role.
Working as a Car Park Attendant you will resolve customer’s concerns, implement traffic
control measures, issue parking charge notices in line with the British Parking
Association (BPA) whilst maintaining the prescribed standards of quality and safety within the designated areas. Carry out any other tasks as required meeting operational requirements.

**Experience**:

- Previous customer service experience is essential.
- Be flexible with a can-do attitude to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to deal with possible hostility and aggression from the public.

Specific Duties:

- Must be smart and presentable (Uniform will be provided)
- Have a good level of fitness
- Be able to work alone or in a team
- Be trustworthy
- Prepared to work evenings and weekends when required
- Ensure provided COVID PPE is used at all times
- Must be flexible in working hours to cover the busy times of the car park which
- Must be flexible to work evening and weekend when management or client request

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
