Blaze Accounting & Tax Ltd is a new and exciting, forward thinking modern practice located close to Warminster. We already have a great team but are looking for a confident individual who can join our team and take on the role as bookkeeper. This role will be mainly office based with some flexibility to work from home.

We are looking for someone to work in the following areas:

- Bookkeeping
- Payroll
- Administration

The applicant must have good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Apps including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Working as part of a team, we are looking for someone who can quickly take on their own portfolio of clients, the role will include:

- Weekly bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Processing receipts from receipt capture software through to Xero
- Reconciling Xero - invoices, purchases and bank reconciliations
- Preparing VAT Returns for review, and then submission
- Preparing CIS Returns for construction clients (training can be given)
- Communicating to clients on any queries/missing invoices
- Speaking to clients when required if they have queries
- Preparing accounts to trial balance for the accounting team
- Monthly Payroll for a portfolio of clients
- Processing payslips for clients
- Speaking to clients to discuss any queries/missing information
- Answering any payroll related queries clients may have
- Supporting the company Director with admin tasks when required
- Communicating with clients to answer queries/chase information when required
- Updating the client management software (full training will be given)
- Being involved with other aspects of the business when required

We are looking for someone who will grow with us as the business grows, who would like a role which can develop to suit their personal interests within the business.

**Pay**: From £25,000.00 per year - salary is negotiable based on ability and experience

**Expected hours**: 20 - 37.5 hours per week

Work Location: In person, some flexibility to work from home. Hours can be worked around family responsibilities after the initial probation period has passed.
