We are working with an International Bank based in London who are seeking a Senior Treasury Operations Clerk in the back office team. We are ideally seeking someone from the banking industry with back office Treasury or Payments experience (must know SWIFTmessaging). This will be a small team with hybrid working in place **You will be responsible for**: - Responsible for Daily Reconciliation of the Nostro and suspense accounts - FX Spot / Money Market Deposits - Loans / Bonds : Verifiying trades in CALYPSO, SWIFT monitoring MT320 or MT300 and MT202. Checking and matching of counterparty confirmations. - Coordinate with Treasury and providing them with necessary outflow of payments for them to be able to manage adequate funding of NOSTRO/VOSTRO accounts. - Responsible for Weekly & Monthly Custody Reconciliation - Investment Operations - Ensuring all incoming and outgoing remittances are processed accurately and on time. - Monitoring all payments and checking if they have been processed successfully if not then make the correct adjustments on the Internal system - Monitoring Finacle,Payment Hub and SWIFT systems to check for any errors and take necessary action to process them and adjust accordingly - Handling Payment/Trade Amendment / Recall / Non-receipt of funds and Compliance queries and investigating to solve issues - Processing/Approving MT103, MT202 fin.199,196,195,192,292,399 and all related SWIFT messages on a daily basis - Assist in short term cash flow forecasting with the aim to minimise the overnight the cash balance - Coordinate with IT for all payment related issues so that they can be fixed in a timely manner - Worked on multiple projects within bank along with BAU operations. - Participated "Payment Hub" project and leading all test payments. - Approver Multi-currency payments via SWIFT and banking software. - Execute foreign currency exchange transactions - Supporting the operations team with ad hoc duties( Loan & Fixed Deposit opening and maintenance) as and when required and as allocated by Senior Managers. **Requirements**: - Good academic qualifications (minimum 2 'A’ levels), Maths and English preferred or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years banking experience in Retail/Wholesale banking within an International Banking Operation environment at a similar level. - Working knowledge of SWIFT messages creation and verification covering all message types relating to Treasury Products. - Knowledge of SWIFT, Devon, Equation, SMF and Easyway (Euroclear) - Good Knowledge of Excel and Word Total remuneration for this role would equat to a yearly package of over £40k - £45k including bens/bonuses. **_For more jobs like this, search Market Talent on google - go direct to our website for more live roles and even set up your own job alerts._
