Role Description
We are looking for a product marketing lead to join our team at Oakhouse Foods. You will be responsible for driving growth by owning and creating the category vision for Oakhouse Foods the retailer. Your also be responsible for creating competitive productadvantages by ensuring all new product development is delivered against category and consumer insight to drive profitable growth. As the product marketing lead you will look to drive maximum return on investment by ensuring we have the correct products listedin our best retail space.
This is an exciting role if you're looking for ownership and autonomy as you will be responsible for the retail range of products that Oakhouse stock, the consumer pricing strategy and promotional strategy.
To be successful in this role you need to be someone that can spot opportunities through insight and then lead cross functional teams to execute turning opportunities into tangible results.
Key Accountabilities
- Create a future focused and inspiring retail vision/growth strategy for Oakhouse Foods underpinned by category, consumer, and shopper insights with a clear understanding of our competitor landscape and relevant external trends.
- Understands how to define a compelling category vison for an annual and three-year plan. Articulate this vision across the organisation and communicate everyone's role in accomplishing bringing the vision to life.
- Work with the marketing team, commercial team, supply team and franchisers to set product objectives and uses category/customer insight to develop high impact activation on new product launches or seasonal promotions.
- Deliver clear growth levers for increasing our average order value and inspires the organisation to land against these targets.
- You will ensure that we move from better to best with our product quality and work closely with our food design specialist to ensure we delist any slow sellers and replace them with delicious new products that drive growth. This will be part of your responsibilityfor quarterly range rationalisations across our grocery and meal ranges.
- Own and deliver the quarterly consumer pricing strategy.
Skills and Experience
- Category and data driven decision making
- Ability to influence peers to follow a strategy
- Experience in the meals category is Preferable but not essential
- Computer literate
