We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Adviser to join our Technical Sales Team based at the Crewe site.

**Purpose of the Role**

The Sales Advisor is a key role within the Sales department and the company as a whole - as the first point of contact you will provide prompt and clear communication to the customer.

A technical mindset would be an advantage, however not essential as full training will be given.

**Main Tasks**
- Receiving technical team enquiries and advising customers on quotation timescales, product selection & pricing.
- Monthly analysis of quotations - value / number, win ratio (total & per customer), lead-time - show trends.
- Learn & find improvements to technical quotation process.
- Shared ownership of Work loading spreadsheet.
- Provide a proactive approach to supporting customers including regular follow-up and general liaison.
- Consult with our engineering department as necessary to specify equipment specifications, company standards and product developments.
- First escalation point for comments and complaints from customers. Where necessary reporting problems to the Sales Manager or Technical Project Manager.
- Reporting and analysis of above to the Sales Manager or Technical Project Manager.

**Desirable Skills**
- A natural understanding of the sales process and an understanding of the needs of the customer.
- An engineering qualification
- Commercial/Technical experience within similar industries/market.
