MKC Training now have a rare opportunity for an experienced, adaptable and highly motivated Project Management (PM) Lecturer to join their dynamic commercial training team. The PM Lecturer will be working in a positive, continuous improvement environment, 37 hours per week, for an organisation that sustains a healthy work / life balance whilst providing first class learning to a wide range of delegates, both face-to-face and virtually. They will initially be delivering a range of management courses primarily to the corps of royal engineers, as well as corporate customers.
- 2+ years’ experience of delivering high quality training programmes to a variety of audience types.
- An accredited trainer with APMG, PeopleCert or APM.
- At least one of the following certifications (at practitioner level)
- PRINCE2
- PRINCE2 Agile
- MoR (Management of Risk)
- Managing Benefits
- Change Management
- NEBOSH or SMSTS
- MSP
- PMQ
- AgilePM
- Other related management certifications
- Demonstrable track record in delivering learning that leads to improvements in performance
- Engaging, inspirational and professional presentation style
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Able to adapt delivery style to meet the needs and expectations of the audience
- Ability to create professional PowerPoint presentations and online quizzes, and to use them with online collaborative and other learning tools.
- Sound understanding of the needs and expectations of modern learners
- Ability to accurately and efficiently assess student responses in line with awarding organisation standards
- Ability to monitor, assess and report on progress and needs of students and provide developmental feedback
- Expert knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
- Passion for helping others learn and an eye for detail

**Desirable**:

- A higher-level teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve a level 5 teaching qualification within two years of contract commencement
- Microsoft Project software delivery experience
- Environmental & sustainable construction delivery experience
- Experience in, or knowledge of, the construction industry
- Experience of delivery to a military audience
- Confidence in writing blogs and creating social media content
- Full driving licence

**Note: All post holders will be expected to complete and pass the following courses if they have not previously attended these courses**:

- Attend and pass an Army Staff Leadership School (ASLS) course.
- Attend and pass a Defence Instructional Techniques course.

**Package**
From £44,800 dependent on level of experience and qualification. Excellent benefits to include: 6 weeks holidays (plus Bank Holidays), contributory pension, private healthcare, sick pay, cycle to work scheme and on-going professional development.
