We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Chesterfield, S41. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with all aspects of daily living, while enjoying a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Supporting a male in his early 30’s in his own home. He suffers with Epilepsy and Learning Disabilities. He has Autism and sometimes suffers with his Mental Health. He also has a stoma bag and requires stoma care. He requires support with personal care, moving and handling and medication administration. The client sometimes displays challenging behaviour, so prior experience/knowledge around this would be great

Hours: 10 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursdays.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to senior staff.

**What We're Looking For**:
A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential. Previous knowledge/experience with Epilepsy, Cerebral palsy and Diabetes would be preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
