**The Company**
The Real Birth Company provides an accredited, multi-language, antenatal education programme to the NHS and private practitioners. The Real Birth Digital Programme is free for patients and accessible via EHPR or QR code. Created with service users and clinicians, data driven adaptations and a 92.25% engagement rate. We strive to achieve equity of access amongst all and believe that everyone giving birth should be able to access evidence based holistic birth preparation education.
**Job Purpose.**
To be an advocate for the RealBirth Company in hospitals and other organisations through the United Kingdom and Ireland. Promoting the company’s message amongst NHS and including midwives, stakeholders, public and private organisations and the general population.
The post holder will work as a core member within our digital inclusivity and implementation team, playing a key role within our small team and will join a successful, friendly, experienced team responsible for promoting and developing a culture that drives high quality research through expert advice and support.
**Experience Required**
Relevant studies at a higher-level education institute, ideally BSc Hons in Midwifery or Nursing or relevant experience equivalent.
Preferable experience with maternity or family support services.
Experience of working within maternity services.
Strong interpersonal skills with public and private organisations including the staff within them.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effectively organise workload and documentations.
Ability to report on projects and autonomously act in the best interest of the company.
Courage to speak up and challenge in a constructive manner.
Exercise professional judgement and be accountable.
Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Ability to reflect and put forward changes that make positive outcomes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Working closely with the Clinical and Digital Midwife, participants, and Stake Holders to help support the development of new modules that benefit people who access the Maternity Services.
- Identifying and researching ways in which the programme could be adapted to reach minority groups or to be more accessible for those with impairments and/or disabilities.
- Work closely with other private and publicly funded organisations to improve the implementation of the Digital Workshop to a wider group of people and under represented groups.
- Take responsibility for groups of participants in specific projects to coordinate all aspects of their participation.
- Take responsibility for the efficient set-up of steering groups and focus groups as required and take the role of lead to improve continuity.
- Appropriately recording information from each steering group and creating a plan to implement any necessary changes required. Monitoring the changes to track and measure the effectiveness.
- Weekly reporting of progress and steps taken to improve inclusivity digitally and in each of the areas which have implemented the Real Birth Digital Programme. Monitoring any changes made to determine their effectiveness.
- Actively seeking out other like-minded individuals and groups who could assist in spreading awareness and increasing engagement.
- Making vital links with organisations working towards the same equity goals with the view to potentially working together/as a partnership in some capacity.
**Skills and Attributes**
- Ensure all projects are conducted in accordance with the appropriate guidelines.
- Understand and act as a champion for compliance with current data protection regulations such us Data Protection Act 2018, GDPR and ICO guidelines.
- Develop specialist knowledge and expertise about the information systems in use within the maternity service.
- Maintain a high skill level and liaise with a wide range of staff at all levels including senior management, to achieve objectives and deliver the defined requirements as part of the national digital maternity programme of work.
- Develop, create, and present statistical reports.
- Attend weekly operations meetings.
- Identifying areas for research and development.
- Assist in data collection and production of reports as requested.
- Participate in programmes of audit and research and implement findings.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient’s data is preserved in compliance with Information Governance policy and current data protection legislations.
- Take personal accountability for his/her own practice, i.e., to be answerable for his/her actions and omissions, regardless of advice or directions from another professional.
- Participate in the effective dissemination of information, particularly with reference to this specialist role.
