What's the role about?: **Platforms Executive** **(GIG Retail an Advantage Smollan company)** **Full time, Permanent** **Salary**: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum + Company Bonus + 27 days holiday (+ birthday off) **Working**: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (with some flexibility available) **Location**: Leeds (Hybrid) 2 days office, 3 days working from home We’re looking for a **Platforms Executive** to join our Retail Media & Product Propositions team. This role is perfect for someone who’s curious about technology, enjoys solving problems, and wants to kick-start their career in business systems and platforms. You’ll be working closely with our Platforms Senior Manager, Sales, and Operations teams — becoming the go-to person when colleagues need system support or improvements. Think of it as the bridge between tech and people: keeping things running smoothly while helping us make our tools even better. **What you’ll be doing**: - Supporting the day-to-day running of our systems and platforms. - Helping colleagues get the best out of our tools — answering questions, fixing small issues, and showing people how things work. - Making simple system changes (like updating fields, layouts, or workflows). - Assisting on new projects: testing, writing guides, reporting progress, and training users. - Spotting opportunities to improve processes and integrations. - Acting as first-line support by responding to help desk tickets. **What we’re looking for**: - A recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or similar (or equivalent experience/interest). - A logical, detail-focused mindset with strong communication skills. - Someone organised, proactive, and eager to learn. - Comfortable using MS Office (Excel in particular). - Bonus points for: - Knowledge of SQL. - Exposure to working with large data sets. **Why GIG Retail?** We are a values-led business that puts people first.
