**As a Head Steward at Sodexo at Lucknow/Mooltan Barracks, Tidworth, SP9 7BU**

**You'll lead a front-of-house team, ensuring smooth operations in the bar and food outlets. Your role is customer-facing, with a key focus on interacting with our Armed Forces personnel every day. **What you’ll do**:

- **Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are completed on time and to a high standard, while motivating your team to do the same**.**
- **Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards in all front-of-house areas.**
- **Collaborate with catering management and chefs to maintain smooth communication and team alignment.**
- **Promote and enforce health and safety practices—be proactive about spotting and reporting potential hazards to keep everyone safe**.**
- **Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address any risks.**
- **Conduct weekly team huddles with the team.**
- **Provide ongoing feedback and support to your team, ensuring they feel confident and valued in their roles.**

**What you bring**:

- **Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering operations and some supervisory or team leadership experience**.**
- **Experience in hospitality (hotel, bar, or restaurant) is a plus.**
- **Strong customer service and communication skills.**
- **Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.**
- **Comfort with working at a fast pace and adapting to changing situations.**
- **A collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate well with senior management.**
