**Introduction**

An exciting opportunity to join TfW as an Active Travel Lead to lead and co-ordinate active travel activities to deliver effective and collaborative implementation of the Active Travel (Wales) Act in South-West and Mid Wales.

**Role responsibilities**

You’ll lead, develop and manage a programme of active travel activities by managing and leading project teams in collaboration with internal and external colleagues to support the delivery of the SBWW Metro and TfW’s rural active travel agenda to time, cost and quality.

You'll be also support local authorities in South-West and Mid Wales in the development of active travel resources and delivery of their active travel projects by providing learning opportunities, providing expert active travel knowledge and guidance to improve the quality of active travel infrastructure in Wales and to meet relevant Welsh Government standards.

**Who we are looking for**

You’ll need to have:

- Educated to degree level or similar in transport planning, geography or similar or have equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering a range of active travel related projects.
- Demonstrable understanding of active travel infrastructure planning and design
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the Active Travel (Wales) Act.

Byddwch yn arwain, yn datblygu ac yn rheoli rhaglen o weithgareddau teithio llesol drwy reoli ac arwain timau prosiect ar y cyd â chydweithwyr mewnol ac allanol i gefnogi’r gwaith o gyflawni Metro canolbarth a gorllewin Cymru ac agenda teithio llesol wledig TrC yn unol â’r amserlen, y gost a’r ansawdd.

Byddwch yn gweithredu fel arbenigwr pwnc sy’n darparu cymorth a chyngor i aelodau tîm Metro de-orllewin Cymru, awdurdodau lleol a rhanddeiliaid eraill mewn perthynas â theithio llesol er mwyn gwella’r gwaith o ddatblygu a darparu ymyriadau teithio llesol yn unol â gofynion Llywodraeth Cymru.

Byddwch hefyd yn cefnogi awdurdodau lleol yn ne orllewin a chanolbarth Cymru i ddatblygu adnoddau teithio llesol a chyflawni eu prosiectau teithio llesol drwy ddarparu cyfleoedd dysgu, darparu gwybodaeth ac arweiniad arbenigol ar deithio llesol i wella ansawdd y seilwaith teithio llesol yng Nghymru ac i fodloni safonau perthnasol Llywodraeth Cymru.
