We have a great opportunity to join the Housman court family, we require a kitchen assistant to work mornings or evening or both. In the mornings supporting the chef with preparation and serving of meals, using the dish washer and keeping the kitchen tidy, accepting delivery's and helping to put away. In the evening you will be working independently preparing simple hot and cold options for our residents, you will be expected to follow cleaning schedules and close down at the end of shift. Housman court has a whole home approach to care, so training in supporting residents at meal times and basic manual handling will be provided. The opportunity to develop your knowledge is available.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.18-£9.65 per hour

**Experience**:

- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
