Job Description*
Start your career as a Welding Apprentice at Gardline*
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, based locally to the office, interested in starting their career as a Welder with Gardline, and undertake a Level 3 Welder/Fabricator Apprenticeship.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in welding and fabrication, be part of a dedicated and hard-working team in a unique industry.
This role is workshop-based in Great Yarmouth.
**During your apprenticeship you will be trained to**:

- Support the team in preparing equipment that is used offshore on our fleet of vessels ensuring it is welded and fabricated ready for mobilisation
- Maintain suitable levels of spares parts, tools and equipment
- Resolve issues with faulty items of equipment

Qualifications*
Your qualities*
You can make your mark as a Welding Apprentice if you have:

- Commitment, personal drive and motivation to learn and progress in your career
- Minimum of 4 GCSE’s grades A-C in Science, English and Mathematics
- IT literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Microsoft Access knowledge would be advantageous
- Team spirit and a proactive and conscientious work ethic
