- Role / Team Overview**Current Team Information**
- Our work continues to be in high demand and we have an opportunity for a Summer Placement Student to join the team. This role will be based in our central London HQ and will run for up to two months depending on work requirements.
- We provide research and consultancy on residential property (economics, development, planning, investment) to both internal and external clients. Our external clients include national government, housebuilders, developers, housing associations, charities, and investors.
- Your role will be to support our research and consultancy output through data-driven tasks. These tasks will underpin our analysis and will form an integral part of reporting to our key clients.
- We will involve you in as many team activities as possible, including team meetings, company events and socials. It will provide the opportunity to make contacts within the Research team and wider Savills business, and allow you to gain an understanding of how the team operates.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Data cleaning exercises to eliminate duplicated and incorrect records from our dataset. This will go further than comparing records with one another and will require a more nuanced view of the factors that make up individual data points.
- Ensuring results from the above are represented in the data that we report to our clients and the wider Savills business.

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Strong IT & Microsoft Office skills, particularly the ability to interact with large datasets in Excel.
- An enjoyment of attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
- An interest in UK real estate, particularly the planning and development process of the residential sector.
- Personal skills suited to working with a professional team environment.
