Care Coordinator

Care coordinator role is a 37.5 hour contract (must have NVQ level )
Must be available to work at the Blossom office Monday to Friday 9 until 5pm, availability 7am until 10pm evening and weekends on an oncall rota, and to assist senior carers when required.
The care coordinator will also work in the office and support our Office manager with the day to day runnings. They will be undertaking client reviews, and risk assessments and supporting and giving guidance to the seniors and care workers in the field by undertaking spot checks and training new staff. You would also need to be computer literate as you will be doing staff rotas weekly, and adding new staff and clients to the system.

The job role is therefore varied but is likely to include personal care, administering medication, collecting prescriptions, preparing and assisting with meals and supporting people living with Dementia / Alzheimer’s / End of life care and support especially when oncall covering staff sickness.
