Our client's home care services in Surrey and West Sussex will allow older vulnerable adults to remain at home. Each care package they provide is tailored to the individual’s needs and requirements; whether you need an hour a day with visiting care or aprivate live-in carer residing in your home, they have home care services that can support everyone to get the best out of their life. Every care visit is a minimum of 1-hour. **Pay Rates & Benefits** - £11.50-£21.00 per hour plus paid mileage allowance. - Paid travel time and waiting time - Enhanced Rate for Bank Holidays. - Holiday Pay & Company Pension. - £150 refer a friend scheme. - Years in service award & "Going the extra mile" award - Opportunity to gain a diploma in Health & Social Care - Employee Assistance Programme. - Employee discount scheme. **Hours of work** - Your own set clients, so no constant changing rotas. - Minimum of 1-Hour Client visits. - **20-25 Guaranteed hours contracts are available.**: - Your working hours will be a mix of early mornings, lunchtimes, afternoon, early evening, and alternate weekends. Being a Home Helper & Care Professionals is an extremely rewarding job. You will be supporting clients with a variety of daily tasks, some of which may include: - Help someone get out of bed in the morning or into bed at the end of their day. - Run a bath or shower and be close by if they need assistance. - Assist with dressing & undressing and personal care when/if required. - Provide medication reminders. - Accompany clients to appointments and social events. - Prepare healthy meals and snacks. - Manage household bills, pick up a prescription or do some shopping. - Carry out some light housework, laundry, or ironing. - Above all, be the person who shows friendliness, warmth, and empathy. **To become a Home Helpers & Care Professionals, it is essential that you are**: - An excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable. - Compassionate. - Able to treat clients with dignity and respect always. - A good listener, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families in a polite and friendly manner. - Able to adapt to change quickly and make a decision at short notice. - A Smartphone is required because you will need access to an App for logging visits.
