**HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic**

We are looking for a qualified HGV technician/ HGV mechanic that has the skills and motivation to work with our client to maintain and keep their fleet of vehicles in a safe condition. The role is predominantly yard based with occasional site visits. The company is going through a well planned growthy phase and can offer significant opportunities to progress your career. **ROLE**:

- Carrying out the day to day servicing, MOT preparation and repairs to HGV, and light commercial vehicles.
- You will be maintaining and keeping their own fleet of vehicles compliant on the roads as well as outside customers vehicles.
- You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure their fleet vehicles are safe, compliant and repaired to the highest standards.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant accurately.
- Competent and confident with the use of diagnostic equipment to fault find.

**CANDIDATE**:

- Previous experience as Mechanical Fitter or technician ideally with a Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent.
- A HGV licence is desirable but not essential.
- A Drive to grow and develop within the business.
- A team player that has the ability to also work independently.

**Benefits**:
Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience) plus overtime opportunities.
