- We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bottom Floor Utility with a particular focus on the Heeling Room based in our factory in Northampton.
- Lasting Room - Inseam trimming, Upper trimming, Welt sewing, Bagging, Seat Lasting.
- Making Room - Rough rounding, Sole stitching, Heeling,
- Finishing Room - Edge trimming, Bottom scouring.
- Produce work to the highest quality,
- Proactive and using his/her own initiatives,
- Produce volumes in accordance with the company expectation ensuring customer deadlines are met at all times,
- Ensure own machinery is fully functional and refer to Engineer if any issues,
- Maintain a neat and tidy environment,
- Ensure work is not ‘passed on’ if there are any defects
- The following skills, knowledge, and abilities will be needed by a prospective factory worker to be able to perform his/her duties effectively:

- Good general standard of education
- Knowledge of the Shoe Industry and its products
- Acceptable knowledge of Health and Safety principles
- Capability to understand expectations regarding quality
- Ability to utilise diverse machines and possession of practical aptitude
- Sound communication aptitude in delivering beneficial teamwork
- Must be a team player, with attention to detail
